But this chili Im trying tastes pretty good. It's called Bear Creek Country Kitchens "Darn Good Chili Mix". Been looking at it on the store Shelve for a while now and thought Id get one and try it. And It's not too bad for meatless stuff. They got other kinds of mixes too Im going to try as well, Like the Navy bean soup mix next.

No-meat chilli, huh? That sounds blasphemous, especially here in Texas. If you like it, go ahead and eat it, but you won't see me touching that stuff.

If we are not to eat animals, why are they made of meat?
Actually, I consider myself a second-tier vegetarian: Every animal I eat had once eaten a vegetable

I love vegetarian food...but only when it is beside a thick juicy steak. ;)

Vegitarians...
Hmmm...
I don't know how I'd feel about veggie food. I can aet a meal that has no meat, but given the fact that it's flavored witrh all kinds of grease, lard, fat, and bones, I don't think that you'd call it 'vegitarian' and get away with it.
I'd say that it wouldn't taste right without the tallow in it for flaver.

Heh, It's kinda funny. For supper lastnight, we made Salads. Of course, I had some turkey and ham in mine, But I was craving some Veggies yeterday.

i think that if you are turning to or have been a vegetarian diet you shbould be doing it for the sake of your own personal health.
drawbacks to a pure veg diet are the limitations of needed protein for growth and muscle developement.
a veg diet is very well recommended for elderly and obese individuals though.

About a year and a half ago, one of my friends had to go on a vegetarian diet (she's a Meat Sciences major at Texas A&M University). Short of having a bout with cancer the previous year, it was one of the hardest things she's had to go through (yes, she likes meat that much). She asked me to help her stay on the diet and keep her from eating meat. Yeah right! I knew perfectly well that if I saw her with a big, fat, juicy steak and tried to take it away from her, I would end up with an arm missing. Fortunately, she only had to be on the diet for a couple of months.

the contenuing saga of me trying differant foods. Well I tried their Navy bean mix, wasn't all that great. But I also got the Chicken noodle soup mix to try next as well. But Ill do that after I make up the hamburger helper I got. Beefy noodle I know that will taste good. :)
