(example.com resolves to 192.0.34.166, http://ws.arin.net/whois/?queryinput=192.0.34.166, an ICANN server - I was just curious)

P.S. The RFC 2606 (http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2606.txt) document linked is disturbingly incomplete...
