OK....up until recently I've always ran a Norton AV, I dumped that and got Panda and I think it was a smart move....
Norton never made me aware of this before, I did come down with a virus in the past that I had a problem getting rid of which was why I wanted to switch.
I'm just an old fart and don't know much about this stuff :-[
I've gotten this alert a couple of times now...as follows:
Intrusion Attempt Blocked
Protocol : TCP
Remote IP Address : 221.2106.214
61.152.158.125.....this one 4-5 times
Port Scan
MB its nothing....MB it is, I figured you guys could tell me...
Any info would be appreciated, TY

If It's blocked your fine. It seems like someout there just sniffing around your PC, or trying to.

Or just random port scanning.
It's blocked. Nothing to worry about.

Determine your DHCP snd DNS servers and gateway, do not block them. ("ipconfig /all" at the command prompt on XP) Everybody else: block away!

And there's the man to listen too.

Thanks very much guys.... :)
As much as I hate the thought of someone trying to get in, I'm glad all's well. ;D

It could be your ISP. Some of them do port scans on their own customers.
