Title: USS Holium NX-81988
Post by: Darkseid on July 19, 2005, 06:59:11 pm: This is a ship my friend designed back in 5th grade, believe it or not. It has evolved since then and I take it this is the final design. I drew these based on his last known sketches and he has approved the Dorsal but I’m still waiting to hear from him on the Ventral. Thought I’d share them with ya.

Post by: Darkseid on July 19, 2005, 07:24:24 pm: The piece on the front of the saucer is a small craft which detaches along with the Saucer. Basically this ship has Multi-Vector Assault mode and breaks into three ships. The engines sticking out of the saucer's sides are Defiant like Nacelles.

Actually that is where the inspiration for this ship came from. I have to make modifications to the ship though. I need to integrate the Defiant like engines into the saucer more and the Ventral area needs to be stretched up towards the command area more.

I always wished there had been a Constitution Refit aswell as the original version to fiddle with... oh well (not that I really built anything other than the original ships that is lol)l. About integrating the engines.. maybe you could flair out the hull a bit more and make some bussards like a Steamrunner or similar...?
