t's a go for space shuttle
Monday, July 25, 2005
The space shuttle Discovery will launch Tuesday morning. Click here for enlarged image.
The launch of the space shuttle Discovery will go on as planned Tuesday, even if a fuel gauge malfunction reoccurs.
NASA engineers said they've run more than 160 tests, but they can't explain what exactly caused the failure of a hydrogen sensor that prompted the last-minute cancellation of the July 13 launch. The launch will be the first space shuttle flight since the 2003 Columbia disaster.
Lift off is scheduled for 10:39 Tuesday morning.
