Title: How do you regain the campaign?

I started playing the Fed campaign in SFCIII and was getting slammed with storyline missions from Picard. I messed one up and now, I get NO missions anymore. How do I get them back? Start over? Or keep doing Patrol missions or what will reactivate them?
