A new friend of mine from the Temporal Alliance Group, an SFC3 clan, has been making a brand new ship, and when I saw an update of this ship today, I almost flipped my lid!!!! TAG Dukat has made an incredible ship, and the ship isn't even done yet. Right now, she stands at 2818 polys, and I believe is roughly half done. The working name for this ship is the Death Stalker. She's not a Fed. Actually, still not sure what race she is, but does it really matter? She looks like a ship that Lucifer himself would fly.
I now present to you, on behalf of TAG Dukat, the Death Stalker, WIP...

looks cool, wish the lighting was better though ;)

I took the renders in Max. I don't know how to increase the lighting without making the model look like she's completely bleached or on acid.
-
Here is a brighter, but less fancy render.

there we go, i can see it ;). if ya want to play around in max for a few hours (and it will take a few) there is a lighting tutorial link in the tut post on this forum ;) its has helped me out bunches :)

Oooohhhhh. Sounds nice.

This ship looks very insect like in appearance. It looks like a Mantis with a lance or stinger emerging from it's head. With that being said may I suggest that it belongs to the ...........
Aaamazzarites
Federated humanoid species from Aaamazzara distinguished by large bald, bulbous, ridged heads. They are also sometimes referred to as Therbians. Aaamazzarite Therbians are somewhat insectoid, and weave a silk like material from their bodies that can be made into clothing or, correctly hardened, used as a material for the building of structures. In 2272, a party of Aaamazzarite Therbians were present on the planet Earth representing their home planet at Starfleet Headquarters. ("The Motion Picture" [Movie #1]).

It's just a thought ;)

It looks Atolm-ish!
(Yes, that is a big compliment!)

Bump to announce that a version is completed and is just waiting for permission from the creator of the textures I used. Untill then here is a naked picture of the final mesh, with an interestingly mirrored poly technique to give it some taste.

Very nice !!!!!!

Yay, WZ got back to me. Unfortunatly I'm moving and don't have the full model with me (along with the great render I did). So, for now you get this shot.
Name: Diablo Paloma
Race: ?
Class: ?
Model: Dukrat (TAGDukat)
Textures: WickedZombie45 (Korgath K'Tinga)

I suggested a species in an earlier posting in this thread. Why not use it for this ship ;D

Becuase the ship looks like a bird not a insect. (At least its supposto).

Ummm ok ? Well I did some surfing and came up with this ............
Aurelian
(http://www.captainmike.org/Images/aurelian.gif)
Avian humanoid species native to Aurelia. The Aurelians are Federation members. ("Yesteryear" [TAS #3]).
Hope that helps ;D

Hehe, even tho that is the worst picture I've ever seen that fits me. The ship is the flag ship of the Aurelian fleet. That makes it a Federation vessel, let's seen than... I guess it flies aside all the lovely fed ships, kinda strange. Well I guess it could be reassigned to a different species if anyone ever wants to actually use it in game.

Found this...I know it's from Buck Rogers but it definately works as an Aurelian

I think it looks more insectiod than bird-like, but i like that, no one has really tried for an insectoid look except Lord Bile.

That's exactly what I said when I first saw it. ;D. And suggested it belonged to the Aaamazzarites.

If you look at it from the front, it reminds me of a dove thats where its name came from. And there are other subtile things that make it look like a bird, however it is also very (probally more so) insectoid. However, the Aaamazzarites do not look like the right type of insectoid. I do not think thier ships would look like the Diablo Paloma.
