I am planning to do a new fed ship, it will have the basic setup of an Akira with a saucer and necells based on an Intrepid. There will be two varients. One with 2 necells and one with 4 necells. I have already named them but will keep that under wraps for now. I plan to post some drawing plans in about a week.
I don't know when I'll get to it, but I'm posting looking for anyone with an updated Akira or Intrepid model. If anyone knows of one I would greatly appriciate a link to it.

Yes, I know. Actaully have to ask his permission before I realease them. But, it turns out I may end up doing this one from scratch as the Intrepid saucer section isn't exactly what I've been recently thinking I want. And the Akira part is strieght out. There is still a good chance I will use the Intrepid tho especially the textures.

you know, that shape you sketched, though I assume is supposed to be a reg intrepid hull?, is actualy better than one. It's got that plump aquatic feel of the wells class. If you could shape the profile of the intrepid hull to match you're drawing I think it'd be a winner. I'm not so sure about the pylons you're using though, have you ever though of using the pylon design from the insignia class instead? Just a thought.

Well, I didn't mean to make her look like an Intrepid that much, if someone wants to do an Intrepid hull like in my drawing feel free. The actaully ship is turning out a bit different. Actaully it is looking more like what I wanted it to look like before I drew it, but when I drew it I ended up playing around with it till I indeed ended up with a pretty much Intrepid class main body. I will post a render ASAP. As you will be able to tell I am not using any others ship as a base, I started with a sphere. Though the textures may still very well end up being from someone else.
As for the pylons, where it is black there is nothing there, it has holes there. So it has three and in the 4 necell version 2 are halfway in.
