Title: Firefox problem

Hey guys,

Was uninstalling a program (Warhammer 40K) and it wouldn't uninstall correctly (probably all those mods I added) so I went thru and deleted a lot of it. 

Well, I went to delete one file that was causing all the problems and up comes an error message that said in effect: C:/ is not formatted. Do you wish to format now?

Well, not being a fool, I didn't reformat my HD. So I pressed 'NO' and decided to investigate further before I try to delete that particular file.

So there I go on my happy way.... but later, when I went to (of all things) check up on D.net.... I find that approximately 1/2 of my bookmarks are GONE!!!  Particularly everything below a certain folder was just missing...

Any idea how I can find these bookmarks and get them back?

undelete from the DOS prompt?

undelete may help.

Could also be in a lost or damaged sector/cluster.

As much as i dislike scandisk, it might be a prudent run on bootup if undelete doesnt work
