Title: Cant join

i have repeatedly tried to join server or any server on list and it automatically kicks me to desk top i have disable firewalls reinstalled files nothing works single player works without problems just multiplayer is where iam havin problems i was workin fine before this with the same settings and firewall on now kapoot

oops well i found the problem op didnt like the privace service i installed with my mcafee security center i uninstalled it and logged on fine

You cannot predict how software firewalls will behave, no matter what they claim.  ;D

I found chat down when I logged in to SGO5 today, the IRC server was still up fine and The Forge chat channels were fine... I rebooted SGO5 to recreate the chat channels. I wonder if this is related and if the chat channels died (IRC relay crashed on the D2 servers) on the other servers you tried to login on while using this "McAfee privacy service"? Did you try to login to The Forge as while you had this service installed?
