Neon Genesis Evangelion is coming to adult swim. Allways wanted to see this anime.

It's going to be edited...a lot.
I can think of a few scenes without having watched it in a year right now that won't get shown. Too bad.

It was really good, though.  The ending, however, has left a lot of my friends wanting, but you'll have to decide for yourself.

What about that movie that came out for it...didn't it have a different ending or more complete ending going more for the

I didnt really care for the ending movies for Eva... Great action, but just seemed a bit off.

(Then again i tend to dislike most Anime endings, even if i love the show)

Yeah, I heard there was a movie that "explained" more as an ending, but I never got around to seeing it.

It doesnt really explain anything IMHO

(SPOILERS FOR ENDING BELOW)











The series ends cerebrally.  The movie ends with sheer violence and insanity.  It's NOT a happy end.  The 1st half of the end movie is far more violent and gory than the series (at least seemed that way to me).  Seeing an EVA get ripped to shreds with Azuka in it was NOT fun

Anyways, that's a pretty dead on analysis. The series leaves it all up to you basically, whereas the movie connects all the dots.

Then again, they connect it with an invisible-ink pen so maybe it doesn't help at all.
