Out of these picks which ones is the best deal.? I have not actively looked at cars for 12 years so I realy dont know much about any of the new ones that are out. But I have been looking and reading up on them.
Out of this group I have only test drove the Aveo and Accent and the Aveo wins out as its just a little bit bigger on the inside than the accent. A lot to choose from. when I get one Im going to be keeping it for a long while.

Wife just got a Cobalt sedan...it's basically a reskinned Cavalier. Nice car even in base version. Corolla is also a good choice - currently on 3rd one with each one going over 100,000 miles (you really rack up the miles doing a newspaper route!)

Go to a bookstore and look at the Consumer Reports car guide, K. I found out that salespeople will be dying to get rid of the 06 Camrys as guess what Toyota is doing? Redesigned Camry gets released in summer of 06, just in time for the hybrid Camry too. If the Corolla is getting redesigned as well, you MIGHT be able to squeeze a good deal on an 06.
My bro in law here on my stepdad's side of family is all Toyota, and he has 2 newer Corollas, MPG is 44 on avg! That's impressive.
If ya want, I'll PM you his e-mail and you can ask about his cars and truck and van. I think he has a 94 T-100 truck for sale. the reason he has so many cars and trucks is because he buys them for his kids.

1- 92 Previa, roomy but you do not want it, has over 200k on it
1 - 94 T-100 Toyota P/U with 6 cyl, stickshift. Standard may suck at times, but a new clutch is WAY cheaper than a new or reman automatic tranny.

Well the only Nibels I got today was from Chevy and Toyota. KIA Suzuki Ford Mitsubishi Did not want my Business. Even tho I liked all the cars I tested. The Forenza had tthe most room in it of the bunch tho. Gonna go try Honda and Saturn next.

Tim, I'm thingking about selling my Ford for about 1 K. I have to buy a better Gas Hogling vehihcle for the ranch. I've put about 2K into keeping It running, and It will def. keep you on the snow roads, as I use It on Major Sand stone everyday.
New tires and shocks. Oil just changed, Brand new air conditioner, and the heater works great. Don't get me wrong, I would not try to drive It to say Alaska, but It Is a good vehicle. Let me know if your interested, as I've had my son do alot of work on It.

You want a cheap, mid-'90s Toyota Corolla that has been well taken care of. If you take care of it yourself, it'll easily last you well over 200,000 miles, it's FWD for rain & snow navigation, and it's a very pleasant-driving vehicle.
You can probably pick one up on eBay for anywhere between $1000 ~ $4000 depending on the variables.

Those are good Vehicles indeed. One of my friends has a Corrola, and IT's been a blessing for him driving from Base to base.

you can usually rely on a Toyota to give you in excess of 200k if they're taken care of properly.

Well got a car I think know for sure Monday a 97 Plymouth Neon, it was what I could afford with my credit rating. Not really too happy about it but I need another car, and I think Ive been pushing it with the one I got. I hope this one wont give me any problems Till I'm ready to get a new car.

Well my car deal fell thru. but maybe that is a good thing as there are far better cars than the neon out there. Im gonna haft to start seeing about fixing up my car, and keeping it a while longer.
Maybe I can find a shop that will let me make payment on the bills, as it will run me about 1500 just to fix what needs to be fixed now.
