Merry Christmas to us.

Roger that.

I was hoping they would have the River Sessions on the dvd. Guess I'll have to try and track them down online. I saw a piece of one, it wasn't tremendous, but it's all a piece of Firefly, so...

EE, Here ya go. If the link don't work, I can email it to ya, as I have it on my HD, also.

Thanks, I just nabbed it from somewhere else just a second ago, but I loved the interface there, and it starts with a blue sun commercial! :D Do you know if there were any other promotional materials thrown out online?
-
I was glad to see this for sale myself as I haven't yet seen the movie. It also makes an excellent Christmas gift for my brother-in-law as I previously gave him the Firefly DVDs.

Unfortunately Serenity has not grossed enough and the series is now over. :(

A lot can happen in a lifetime. It could be possible that sometime in the future Joss might be allowed to visit the "universe" in which firefly takes place, again. If such a thing happens you never know what ship and crew might drop in for a cameo. Is anything ever truely dead?

Let's wait and see how the DVD sales do before we make the final judgement. I know when the movie came out, sales of the series box set rose sharply. Maybe a run on the movie will help get us some more Firefly.
I know it's a longshot...but so was Family Guy being renewed after the DVD sales showed that cancellation might've been premature.

I might point out that Serenity being made at all basically hinged on DVD sales of "Firefly".
Also, "Punisher" did shize at the theater, but is getting a sequal due to strong DVD sails.

and I'm sure that Serenity will have fairly strong DVD sales, as all the Browncoats are likely to pick it up, as well as some of the folks who just dropped in to see the movie cold (no Firefly experience) and happened to like it.
