Title: Earthforce Hyperion

Anyone want it?  Earthforce Hyperion-class, Prometheus Registry.  Its lit, has moving turrents, and has running lights.  (Can't remember if SFC allows this).  The model weighs in at 4200 polys with multi hidef textures.  The JPG is an in-game screenshot, so the quality is not the best.

The base model/ textures were from DamoclesX Starshatter.  Much changes and optimization from that statring point (cut poly count in half)

Unlit yet, but it rotates and has running lights.

I think he meant running lights as in the small lights dotted about sci-fi spaceships similar to the 'running lights' on conventional aircraft.

SFC allows normal lightmaps if that's what you were referring to, but no moving parts.

Thats what I mean... the lights that blink on and off...  We need the source code for SFC2 so we can add things like rotating sections, animations and higher poly count models.  The game is B5: Starship Commander in alpha 0.03 right now...

A B5 game?  Is this being made by a company or is it being develope by individuals as freeware or something?  I remember Sierra having a contract to make a B5 game, but Sierra cancelled the project and never heard if anyone else was goind to make a B5 game.

Developed by Triluminary Design Studios from Japan/ the Philippines.

The one wil be similar to SFC (key commands/ many menus the same/ SSD weapons pretty much the same, but based upon B5Wars).  I used SFC as a basic/ start point.  AI and game mechanics (F%&*#$ physics) are being done now.

I am the lead developer.  Originally to be released as "fan-developed freeware" - like the Russian Flight Sim Project "I've Found Her", Mongoose Publishing is interested in the game.  (Ruleset is based upon B5Wars - basically SFB in the B5 Universe).

I am also Lead Programmer for Babylon 5: Severed Dreams - a strictly canon simulation based on the Severed Dreams Arc in Seasons 3/4 from Babylon 5.  This one will test your new GeForce 7800's...

looking at the site this b5 game looks like a scratch built Fan made game and not an official endorsed game

either way looking at the site and all it looks good, but to play the game itself theyve made it hard to get

Updated Omega-Class Destroyer-A (Vesta).  From in-game warbook (under-construction).  Zooming and moving camera not yet functioning.

Got dynamic floodlights working.
Added some structural detailing to Omega.
Lots of different registries (28) to choose from.
