Looks great, but the blunt, boxy nose doesn't seem quite right to me for a fighter. Overall, I think it's a great design. Not too flashy, but it get's the job done.

Yeah it has that whole runabout feel...more than a sleek fighter...

I kinda like it aswell. In Star Trek, the Federation didn't seem too use fighters all that much in its fleet (at least not until the dominon war). To me, it looks like a Simple, practical design. Cheap to build and fairly durable in deployment for long tours. Also, small size means you could carry a bunch of them. Could also be considered a "Fast Deployment" design during war time where the plans to constuct it are on file if needed. Kinda like that type of Fed Gun-Rifle that was on file as a way to get around Energy Dampening feilds or fighting Borg.

Yeah you might be right but in the design you've shown the engines do not match that period tech/design lineage ???
