Is it time to plant tomatoes indoors? I'm gonna buy those upside down planters as the sun shines on my apt from east to west, my roses and gardenias are rocking and rolling!
You are the tomato expert, let me know when I should start indoor planting.
BTW, I bought Top Sirloin Hybrid seeds. Tomatoes that is, not beef. ;D

Sorry JM, I can't grow indoor. My little plot of sandy NJ soil gets treated to seedlings via local hardware stores, I've even used Shop-Rite sold seedlings twice. I'm not quite sure what variety I've planted in the past, but I think they're usually some-kind of Rutgers beef-steak or big-boy. I usually don't plant these outdoor until mid May.
Had I a scrap of indoor space not yet taken by my sons toys or the wifes nick-nacks, then I'd be asking you the best way to plant indoors. ;D
What do you mean by upside down planters?

Do you know when you are going to plant them? If you start from seeds, you should plant the seeds 6-8 weeks before you plan to plant them in the garden.

Of course there are different brands, but the idea is so killer! I can hook em up to my apt!

Roger that Shadow, us folks in TX have not had much of a winter, more like spring to be exact.
