Title: help damgen disk

hi i have a damgen disk it will not let me install can any1 help me thanks  :huh:

what kind of  damage? is it just scratched ? or craked?

hi sorry for the late repel it been scared badly i try get the data off the disk but i couldn't get the setup progam

sometimes if you try one of the disc repair things it will work.I havent ever tried one on a computer disc but have used one on cd and dvd with sucess.I think it polishes  it so its readable again.I know it dosent work on realy badly scared things but can on lesser so discs. GL and hope it works out.

yes, thats what those devices do, poish the disk.  Remember the data is not on the parts of the disk that can get scratched, so by using one of these scratch remeover you should make your disk playable again... however these ain't cheap, more like 20-30 bucks for them last i checked

thanks for the replay i am i have taken the disk to a shop i know that has a michnes that cleans it i have also try something i brought both haven't work i think i will just have to get a new 1



 :huh: is there anyway any1 could mayb email me the setup program it would be a great help it say in one of actvison help site that if you have a probem installing you should try copy the disk on to your desk top and insatlling it no differnt rweally all i need is the setup progam (the bit that make it install)

Another trick I have learned in the I.T. field is to put Vaseline on the scratch and wipe of the excess.  It works sorta like furniture polish.  It will last for only a little while.

CD cracks are illegal.

While as you can see we'll help you as much as we can regarding a legal, purchased copy of any of the Starfleet Command series of games, if you don't have the original CD or your current CD is un-usable, then buy another one.

Don't post about CD cracks or other hacks in this forum, or any other on D.Net

sorry i didn't relize you don't have to get rude jeezzz just because your the admin it don't mean you can be rude i don't care who you are you have as much tack as a air raid
