I find myself curiously intrigued by this concept...

Nicely done, MP.

Title: Some ideas
Post by: Starforce2 on January 21, 2006, 01:34:09 am
I think if this class could be rebuilt  with more poly in the saucer and the ring nacelle, and perhaps the "nacelle"   sensors changed so they don't use what is clearly a streached set of ambassador nacelle textures (low res at that-no offense intended) this could be a wicked spy vessel or section 31. I was thinking instead of the slots (from the dorsal area of the ambassador nacelles) one could add a midas array style gloosy sensor-ish texture,  for instance., Additionaly, the ring nacelle grilles are a bit primitive, and could use a more intricate texture. Like perhaps a  very deep but soft blue-violet glow as if to be some kind of ultra-low emission drive.

Wow, I really like this design very much.  But could MajorRacial make a version were the Deflector assembly (I think that is it?) at the bottome of the saucer section near the back?  I guess I could make that adjustment with Milkshape.

what if there was a trycycle pylon assembly and the deflector module (albeit a redesigned and smaller one would be nessecary) was suspended from inside the nacelle? The backside of the module could be a sublight propulsion system  shunted   off the warpdrive. That would be truely unique.

the model is good and close to that on Treknology but the original design is one of that horrible "Akiraprise" designs, taking the NX-Enterprise sh** into the Ent-C or Next Generation era
