Maybe you folks already posted this somewhere, but this is the most detailed article on the game I have seen so far.

Yeah..we're checking it out *grin* ;D

looks to me like its going to be a hoped up armada type game and in my opinion that game blows!!
-
Never liked Armada either but I think that by seeing the six shields and the multiplayer mode that there will be much more to this game than Armada. Seemed Armada was more like Starcraft with nation building tech development etc. I see this game as being much more tactically orientated, ship to ship combat style.
We shall see,.. certainly will be fun when September rolls around. Probably should expect a delay though !
Please keep posting any new info that comes out about it.

New image from the publisher's site (http://www.bethsoft.com/games/games_startreklegacy.html). Is that deflector supposed to be blue?

well looks like i'm once again the oddball, blacksheep, wrench in the primate exhibit. I genuinely liked armada I and II. it was SFC 3 that sucked the reproductive organ of a dead male canine.
since i got both armada 1 and 2 along with elite force 1 and 2 in a gamers pack for under 20 bucks i was quite satisfied.
my concerns for this game is the release date, is it going to be likes StarCraft's Ghost, which was supposed to be out in 2002. also the cost. my roommate bought F.E.A.R for 49.95 and finished it in a day and a half at 4hours of play time. it was not worth 49.95. maybe 19.95 but not damn near 50 bucks.

I hope it runs on 1.2GHz, 512 MB RAM and a 16 MB video card because I *was* in the process of leaving all things windows behind. Of course, I could just get an Xbox 360...
