Do  you know what texture controls the phaserbanks on this ship? It  is simply  listed as "2.pcx" and after a port shows white (untextured) in the viewer. There is no such "2" texture file in your zip.

That may be the hardpoint bro.

What do ya mean? The phaserbank texture has nothing to  do with the hardpoint.

I have actually come across models with hardpoints that had a supposed texture attached to them and there was no texture in the folder.

Starforce look for the yellow gradientish like rectangle on saucer textures. They cover the phaser banks ;) These are Pneumonic's skins so I assume Mackie did not make any changes ;)

No,  the chersterfield has tng strip banks. They show up fine on the mod version, because for some reason mod files will do that if you don't have all the textures in the folder (the missing ones will be pcx instead of bump) but they show up white/untextured after I port it.

Well Pneumonic's texturing is predictable. While I was looking at his Galaxy class textures I've spotted the dark grey gradientish squares on saucer textures. I assume these are responsible for phaser strips ;)

Ok now I see the problem. I've downloaded his Chesterfield class and I've noticed that he has taken the strips but also has forgotten to dress them with any skin. This strips need to be retextured in order to look like a strips ;)

Yeah I assume it is but I would prefer to rename it to bmp or even copy the dark grey one from P81's Galaxy textures ;) Or to safe space we could add such square to existing textures but the easiest way seems to be the first one ;)

Ok,  the problem  is, even if  I rename the texture to  bmp  I still do not have it. It still  wont port texture without whatever file 2.pcx corresponds to in with the model.
