OK, small suggestion for Nexus modding:
Can you make so that ships dont turn over on their side as much as they otherwise keep doing? I've seen spaceships in Star Trek, Stargate etc do movements such as: forward, back, turn left, turn right, 360 degrees on its own axis (flying forward, up and over and returning to the same direction you started), but i've never seen Star Trek/Stargate ships do 360's "left to right"... angling the ship 90 degrees perhaps, but not flipping over.
And i'm talking about combat scenarios now, not Enterprise warp flight where the Columbia does a 180 on its side and flies upside down under the NX01 :P

Hey DD, that looks great!! When you get that mod done, can you send me a copy? It looks awesome!! ;D
-
Looks awesome in game. I just picked up Nexus at target for $4.95 in there reduced item section. Did the 1st 2 tutorials. Not sure I can get into though as it appears to be a game where you control a large fleet where each ship has a specialization. I prefer games like SFC where you have 1 ship to worry about.

How would that game run on a sub-ghz computer? If it is at $5 I may have to make a run over to Target soon!
-
its $35 last i checked and sub ghz... good luck. it barely runs on my lap top and that is a 1.5ghz machine

Hey IM Target only had 2 copies in its reduced section and last I checked they were gone. But other stores might have a copy. My computer is 800 mhz with 125mb of memory. However my video card is only about 1 year old and has 250mb of memory so that helps a lot. The tutorials ran fine on my machine. Of course there is not many ships in the tutorials than when you get further into the game. (I haven't actually done a mission or anything yet.) However the game is worth 5 bucks just for the tutorials. The 1st one looks awesosme with the asteroid field and the music reminds me of 2001 space oddysey. The dynamics of the battleship and background are close to movie quality. Or at least comparable 1990's movies, not the current ones. You can always turn down some of the high end effects so there is less overhead on the processor.
I should have picked up that other copy to send to someone. I have 2 target stores within 8 miles of me so I will see if the other store has a copy still. Youi might want to check Target once a week od so. At some point most of there games get reduced, at least the stores in my area do. Not sure if all stores reduce the same games at the same time.

Wow, that looks good! I tried the Demo for Nexus once. Never could get it to work right and everyone always died.. :P
Ok so I'm NOT Admiral material, so what? How many Admirals lead from a cockpit?
Incidently is there a way to get a hold of STOCK nexus models?
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the big D and the Ori mix it up in that engine...(I take it you are working on the SFC3 and Nexus mods concurrently?). That's a lot of work...
