:multi: Congratulations to the Coalition! :multi:
The Coalition won on economic points by a significant margin with the Klingons leading the way.
Player awards:
Most Battles: Igafa of the Federation with 831 battles!
(He edged out KBF-Standarte by only two battles! LordKrueg had 1226 battles
over two accounts! The Officer Exchange program will avoid this in future, allowing players
to accumulate stats on one account while playing multiple races.)
Highest Lifetime Prestige: KHH`ssmeiers of the Klingons with a lifetime prestige of 402749!
Highest Glicko: Flywh33l of the ISC with a final glicko of 37074!
Over the four month run, a total of 18313 battles were fought! :o

Good Job by all!
Actually, I had 3 accounts...with a total of 1745 battles and a combined lifetime PP of 563,999. ;D
I do like the whole transfer thing, it has it's perks...however, I do also still like the idea of having multiple accounts.
That way you can have different types of ships :ie a Capitol ship, a hex-flipper, a drafter, etc.
But, the combonation of WebMap shipyards and the ability to transfercan help maybe eliminate the need for multiple accounts with it's very easy ability to instantly change to suit any need that may arise. ;)
Outstanding job on working all that out, Bonk!

wow thats cool...didnt realise how many bases i dropped...
thanks bonk!!!
and thanks again for letting the server run for a bit in X-era...
-
Thank you Bonk for all that work you put in and for letting it run into the X era
Congrats to all the players on those stats :)
-
I forgot my original password and login name for my Hydran account and after two months could never get back on. I spent roughly a week or so flying Kitty. Hopefully, this officer transfer thingie will work, because I never remember where I left my passwords. Or car keys...

It is astounding that 17,000 + battles were played. That blows my mind !
Also one player had 1700+ battles,.. good god that is incredible.
I feel insiignificant now :)
Damn,.. more to the Dynaverse servers than I ever thought !
I agree,... congratulations to all.
I like how both Coalition and Alliance also balanced out on number of players, loopsided scores though ?
-
This was one of the finest server games that I have participated in Bonk (and therest of the development team). Thanks very much for the hard work in concept, setup, and most importantly - administration. First-class all around. I have made a few comments in a previous thread here and will not repeat myself but one feature that I enjoyed was that the game ran for a long period of time. I have a pretty demanding work environment which requires some "gaming downtime" so short 2-4 week campaigns can be a bit of a problem for me. After a week or two away from the game, I can come back and visit 'an old friend' and pick up - sorta - where I left off (occasionally I parked my cruiser in what turned out to be hostile space). But all was great and I look forward to the return of The Forge!

Balanced numbers doesn't guarantee balanced number of missions run. Coalition races featured more regular dyna players, playing quite a lot and concentrating the area of attack. Fed territory to the south central got creamed by Rom, ISC and Klingon nutters in BBs. Too few Feds were around to defend our prime area.
-
So Dax,.. does this always happen are Coalition usually predominant or do players change about sides ?
-
The sides are usually static. I saw a lot of new fed a names and very few old on the forge. Of the old, a few of the regulars flew other races. Coalition numbers have been dominant for over a year. I am not sure over the long haul as I have only played for a little over 2 years.

Odd,.. I noticed in the UAW server Fed was the strongest nation,.. in a game where you can explore all the new stuff too,.. that seemed odd to me also. Figured everyone would jump at the opportunity to play a new race.
Thanks anyways

On UAW, the consensus from the players I talked to was that the Feds had the best cheese, so they ate it up. I flew Breen for awhile since there were so many Feds. Not too many good breen ships though. Probably explains the lack of play for the race. Breen were really short changed on phasers which is a more important weapon than is sometimes thought.

I heard the same from several players, and decided the download probably wasn't worth it and concentrated on The Forge.
Not everyone prefers Fed. ;D
Ever since I discovered SFB, I've preferred Klingon...must be my volatile personality... :P
I might still try it since The Forge has officially ended, we shall see.

Krueg,..
UAW is pretty fun cause the stuff is so new.
For gods sake help out the Dominion :)

Thanks bonk!

Thanks bonk!
ditto!

Yea it was a great campain from what i played sorta got to class late on this one btw how long is this gonna stay up? or is it just gonna reset?
-
Thanks Bonk!
As always, the web-yards were cool and allowing for changing races was awsome !!

Great Work Bonk - :notworthy:
Much dimension and depth added to the game you have (spoken like Yoda) !!!!!!!!!!
Hope she stays up for a little bit, so i can get my X ship fix ;D though, psyched to fly on the next version, whenever that may start....
Random map question: It possible to add the ability to "name" planets and have that available on the webmap? That was a nicer point of SFC3 I thought. I'm sure a sql table could have the field added so it could be made available when u run ur campaigns that have web-based fun, it's a shame the Artifex program - least for SFC2 and OP doesn't have this feature.....
Cheers M8

Thanks all. :) And don't forget the whole thing was Frey's idea and uses his graciously provided resources... Thanks Frey!
Amadaeus, It will be running a few more days then be going into tests for the next four month run. Gonna test out NW's new AI stripping missions and some changes to the map, before launching the next run.
Bartok, yes, it is possible to name planets and regions on the webmap (aready setup, just don't have any names in at the moment). It will not show in game though. Feels free to submit names if you like, or I can use traditional ones...
-
acutally if you fly fed on uaw you probably will be dead lol
