I wouldn't delete it. It's part of your creative portfolio. I'll certainly archive it (in an ISC folder) if no one else speaks up... I myself need to learn more about them for proper implimentation (story missions).

Well, you said ISC fans...
... I did think it was a nice looking ship, even if not like the ones in OP.
I personally would like to have a copy of this model. I would use it when I get my OP back up working.
I could PM you an e-mail address if you're not going to post it.

Ya know F_W, Ratboy has written fan-fic that has the ISC in it. I would ask him for some cool ideas

Or the ISC-types just don't frequent the forum frequently...
The deal with this:
This is what i have so far Shortly before the end of the first General War the Council decided that losses of the smallerthe Meskeen Destroyers was unacceptable during the standard Echelon formation of ISC tactics and ordered that a new updated design be released to help increase numbers, whist still having weak aft sheilds they could now resist Photon Torpedos 25% percent more than previous Craft.
The upgraded ships were just starting to fill the ranks in the frontlines whenthey gave up on policeing the Galaxy
sorta goes against established ISC doctrine.
In the Echelon doctrine, the "Gunline" of FFs / DDs are to provide an expendable rear guard while the capital ships make their getaway from failed Echelon operations.
A corillary to this is that a transfer from Gunline to capital ship is seen as a promotion equal to the actual gaining of a rank.
Now, the possible uses for this hull would be:
1. Gunline ship in advanced vessel formations
2. Gunline ship in current formations, adding extra strength to current formations.
3. Replacement for "current" CL-sized craft, filling their role in the Echelon formation (including command vessel of smaller 3-6 ship echelons)
4. Advanced "survey" vessel hull designed for solo operations.
Though she's a sweet ship, carrying the traditional TMP-ization (angular in this case) to the ISC... :D
One other fact, ISC Gunline ships are typically equipped with all-around equal shielding because of the rear-firing torps vs. expected incursions past the gunline...
