Title: Econ War BACK UP Saturday Night
Post by: Herr Burt on May 27, 2006, 10:50:10 pm
The server crashed at quarter to midnight tonight.   Being that it is so close to midnight anyway, I'm just going to leave it down and do the editing.

I'm doing my level best to make sure that takes less than an hour tonight.

There *will* be another shiplist, which I will post.

There may or may not be one more after this.   It depends upon what some people do.

Well, it took an hour and a half, but I got a lot done.  All the neutral hexes have been updated, all the trade routes have been updated, and all the gift ships have been bestowed.

I have verified that all gift ships work, and I even ran a mission in each one.  When you log in, it is imperative that you type the e-mail, password, and nick *exactly* as I sent it to you.   If you get asked to create a new account or a new character, you typed something wrong and should try it again.

The new shiplist, with all the gift ships, is here:

ftp://www.fourpower.com/pub/GiftShiplist2.zip

Put this in

X:/Program Files/Taldren Software Inc/Starfleet Command Orion Pirates/Assets/Specs
X:/Program Files/Taldren Software Inc/Starfleet Command Orion Pirates/MetaAssets

I'll wait a few moments, and then I'll start up the server.  Happy Wargaming!

NSIS Installer update here: http://www.dynaverse.net/downloads/sfc2_op/Mods/EconomicWar_Phase3_Gift2.exe
(sorry its late, I was out this morning and today - too nice to stay inside...)

It does not require the previous updates but does require the original installer and can be installed over the previous updates.

WAY too nice.   I'm actually glad this one is wrapping up when it does.   I'll enjoy getting out for a few days.
