I just logged in OK. Not sure what the trouble you were having earlier this morning was? Let me know if you still count down next time you try and login. (If the servers not down for an upgrade - we're getting a new box for The Forge very soon!  ;D)

Odd. I'll try rebooting the server. If that does not do it for you I can start digging through the db to see if there is problem with your account.

EDIT: just rebooted the server, logged in fine, saw Wraith was on...

What character are you having problems with? (so I know what to look at in the db)

Sounds like that other account is bugged somehow, as I suspected. Which one was it? I'll take a look and see if I can fix it for you when I get a chance.

Do you delete bad accounts or leave them? Which is safer?

Fix them if possible, I don't think I've had to delete an account on The Forge II yet. Though if an account is unfixable it is probably best deleted, along with its ships. Though that can complicate battle log analysis.

Bonk, I had to throw my router to the DMZ to get on the Forge. ;D

Other then that, I got on just fine. ;D

Yes, this is a special case, Chuut's original account is bugged somehow, but he has not told me what the account is so I cannot fix it. This of course will not affect other players ability to login at all.

It is the KATBEARD account I think.

Roger, I'll take a peek at it when I get a chance.  I'll try to get to it today.

Do you mean this account?:

Quote
LtCommander KATBEARD (1573)
Empire: BeastRaiders Cartel
Prestige: 1275 / 1437
(B-MTL) Bread Beast
HomeWorld: 23,9
Battles Played: 5
Last Logged On: Saturday, May 6, 2006
Location: 23,9

It only has five missions run... is that the one you mean?

Can you confirm which account has the issues Chuut?

I looked over the KATBEARD character today and could not find anything obviously wrong with it. Are you sure that is the account you meant?
