Title: So when's the start date??!!

K I know that start dates can never be exact, but when is the planned date for SGO6/test server etc.

Basically if it starts the week of the 5th (or earlier) I shoul;d be good to go,
the 12th I'll have a week.

Any later than that and there's no point in me signing up so.. before I make any brilliant plans..

(Waits for t00l to offer Dizzy cash for a late start date)

Grrrrr.... Ok I say we can start the night of the 4th... assuming peeps help in the test phase this week.

I strongly agree with T00l, Diz...test it thoroughly.
I'd rather a delay in the start than a reset 3-4 days into it... ;)

We will start the 4th if the tests work. If they dont, we can cut some features. But I wont launch a buggy server. Dont worry bout that.

When is it anticipated that the download will be setup?  Assuming of course that it isn't already up and I just didn't see it.  Hopefully it won't wait for the last minute as that is an issue if it is large for dialup players such as myself.

I feel for you, I hated d/l large files on dialup.

Now since I am on DSL, it makes my life easier. :)

Depending on timing I can visit my parents and use their cable to download to a compact flash card (as long as its less than ~500MB).  Early warning still helps there to time a visit.
