Aloha everyone!! Since I have less than a months time here I have a question about a game series that Alien and seen at a national electronics chain store. Being and old X-com freak I was wondering if this game is worth the $28 for the two.
Ufo: Aftermath (http://www.ufo-aftermath.com/pages/headquarters.html)
Ufo: Aftershock (http://www.ufo-aftershock.com/pages/hq.html)
Compared to my ol'beloved game, how does it compare and what improvments does the sequal have over the other?
I know this isn't out yet but....
Ufo: Afterlight (http://www.ufo-afterlight.com/pages/hq.html)

I have the first one and it's very similar to the original X-com. It's a tad more polished, and is danged hard in places (last mission is a bitch).. but it'll entertain you for hours, and you won't sit there hating it.
I think there are demos available.

I have Aftershock and I am still trying to figure out how to play the darn thing.
(I dont read manuals all too well) ;D

I guess that's the case for the most of us. Manuals suck up playing time. LIL!
I seen both the games for around $30 bundled so, I was considering it. I just needed to know if it lives up to the X-Com genre.

I will let you know when I get more comfy w/ it. :)

Played some and it was tough on the first skirmish. Will need to investigate it more.
