I just bought one of these this morning and I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is in the market for a drive.  This drive has the 16Mb cache/buffer and is the same price I was about to pay for a 250Gb drive with only 8Mb earllier in the week until I stumbled on this promotion.

I love Seagate drives, there are the one hard drive company I have not had trouble with yet (knock on wood...).  That 5 year warranty blows away anything that the other hard drive companies have to offer.

I would love to get another HDD for my desktop syst. Cant afford one ATM. :'(
