Title: Common Settings foler help.

Can someone help me with the Common Files folder? I want to know the limits of the items like power, weapons, sheilds. I tried to edit them but the game keeps crashing. Anyone?

  did you keep backup copies, if so put them back. if not you can copy the default files from the CD.
try this to get the game running again

Yes, I have the files backed up, however; I have modified these files before and would like to modify them again. I can't remember the modifications I made because it was when the game first came out. Any suggestions?

Unless yo can remember the mods you made just before it started crashing. The only thing I can
suggest is to move the modified files someplace like my documents, put the backups in and slowly
apply your saved mods 1 at a time. this is why I only make 1-2 changes at a time :P sorry can't
be more help but not knowing what changes you have made limit's addvice.

I suggest trial and error... you can learn alot more about most settings by tweaking them
