My first really good Klingon ship the D5 as per the mini with some minor variations on the command bubble, . texture is a place holder texture. I did these changes as the mini is pretty much a scaled down d7 with the tower cut off and the rear hull made bit squarer.

I've never seen the D5 mini. Are the nacelles supposed to be angled in on it, instead of being perfectly vertical, like the D7 nacelles are? Other than that I'd say she looks pretty sweet.

Yes from what I can tell on the mini they are almost straight but of course the mini is just a scaled down d7 anyway with only things differant is the rear hull is a bit squarer and it don't have the tower of the d7. So I fugued I could take a few liberty's with it, and still keep it farly close.

Beginning to texture it. these are correct by the references at adb. Now the light grey on the engines is because I have a hard time making silver in photoshop. Don't really know why it don't come with that color but it don't.

Firstly id say stick with it your pretty good!!
Secondly, every paint application on the planet has silver as a colour.. http://www.htmlhelp.com/cgi-bin/color.cgi
This website gives you the Hex list for all colours, granted, silver just looks grey, but if you want a shiny silver looking material you can just add chrome effects and stuff. Loads of tuts on the net for it.... heres one http://www.eyesondesign.net/pshop/chrometext/chrometext.htm
although its for text the technique could be used on any shape in PS.
