A co-worker asked if I had any resolutions this year, I told him that since I've achieved perfection I don't need to make any.  ;)

Speaking of resolutions, a friend of mine has a theory that everyone eventually breaks their resolutions.  His idea was to make a resolution to not do something that was normally completely out of his control.

Such as, "Don't kill the Pope."  Easy enough to keep, no?

Until John Paul II died.

Needless to say, we all need to take this stuff seriously. I therefore suggest that your resolution be to drink and smoke as much as humanly possible, and therefore you will end up sober and smoke free by January 8th.

Sorry if I offended anyone, but the story always amuses me.

Ciggies went up a dollar a pack, yup, maybe those free patches and gum from VA are not so bad after all? My ciggies are not cheap, Djarum cloves, and at 7 a pack times 30-31? you get the picture.

As far as booze? They should raise the dickens outta that, but I do not think it would go down too well with the booze cartel and football ads and seats for the games, etc...
