Title: Daran Class Fast Frigate

Not long ago, MP made a great Knox class frigate. I was looking at the model today, and realized that by simply removing the megaphasers and pylons, I'd have a Daran class fast frigate. The Daran (NCC 3201)  is a frigate variant found in Mastercom Data's Ships of the Starfleet. Models Please, I'd like your permission to release this variant. I'd also like to see if anyone could add landing platforms to the shuttlebays, as illustrated in the attached schematic. Finally, GaFY, would you be interested in making textures for this ship as you did for the Knox?

Here are pics of the Daran in mod viewer. Note that on the shuttlebays, I have used Destiny Calling and Khaliban's Chandley frigate shuttlebay textures, and added a bank of phasers under the impulse engines to add a bit of interest to the ship.

GAFY? did not make the textures for the Knox, I just used his Miranda retexture and altered them from there. Centurus did the saucer regs. I did the nacelle regs and altered the textures as needed  ;). As it is P81's model originally I have no problem with you releasing you rendition of my bash  ;D. You'll need to add the landing ramps of course.
OH and BTW for anyone interested...... that TMP Champlain/Kalindra ship can easily be retextured by simply swapping out the old p81 textures with a set of GAFY? Constitution retextures ;D.

I know what you mean. I'm trying to learn Milkshape. I know it comes easy to most people on this board, but I'm having a rough time with it. Over time, I hopefully will get a clue.

I'm still trying to figure out Milkshape to bash some landing platforms on it. It's pretty frustrating, but I'm still trying.
