You need to setup port forwarding on the router...to open up the necessary ports on the router so outbound/inbound traffic from the internet can reach the server.

First you need to know which TCP/UDP ports your server needs in order to function. Check your routers help information on how to set up port forwarding.

Trying not to sound like I am a dummy, how would I check for the TCP/UDP in my server? :)

it depends on what you are trying to do.  if your server was just to host a teamspeak then you would open up the corrisponding TCP/UDP

My router right now is handling all of the DHCP for my network. The server will not.

Oh, I wish Bonk was here. ;D

NOTE:The server will just be handling hosting my pics.

If the server is running on default ports, you need to forward port 80.
If your router has a web interface you will need to change the port it runs on.

Depends on what sort of server you're running. Web servers use port 80. Mail servers port 23.
