He's a way underrated guitarist. As a matter of fact, Jeff Beck and Frank Zappa both gave him 1st mention when asked who they thought the best was. Both said that you can't name any one as best, but then mentioned him 1st after that.

As any guitarist knows, the best guitarist in the world is probably playing in a restaurant in Tijuana and nobody knows who he is because he spends all of his time drunk on tequila. ;D

True, Eddie was one of the greats, but unfortunately he is lost in the land of drug induced confusion as of the past years. I only feel sadness that Valerie finally had to leave him. :(

Doesn't hold a candle to The Gates of Delirium live.

You also won't see Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush at California Jam 2 playing Jonny B. Goode on that list. It's such a rare record I doubt anyone has it anymore but me.
