OUTALANCE SHIPYARDS
U.S.S. Inaieu NCC-2003
Peacekeeper Class Drone Battlecruiser
(http://www.battleclinic.com/docks/files/images/b/b0146019414131fa1ca871a03a24ab31.JPG)
Owner: United Federation of Planets
Class: Heavy Combat Vessel
Availability: Unlimited Deployment
In Service: 2288
Out of Service: n/a
These unique vessels have gained the respect and admiration of their crews because of their handling characteristics and offensive capabilities.
The overall design came from OutaLance design teams contracted to create a cruiser with drone missiles as its main weapons.
The Peacekeeper Class forms the core of all squadrons in the famed 'Blue Fleet', and is an integral part of front line forces for Star Fleet.
As with all Star Fleet vessels, the engines can be jettisoned in case of an overload in the matter/anti-matter chamber.
The most unusual feature of this vessel is the weapons array.
Mounting two photon torpedo launchers fore and 2 facing aft, and 10 missile launchers, it well deserves its informal name of 'missile boat'.
Due to the number of missiles and the ranges at which they are most effective, these vessels normally operate in combat at 120,000 km.
The Peacekeeper Class has been encountered and engaged by both Romulan and Klingon forces, which were taken by surprise when the Star Fleet vessel fired a spread of drones whose number was unexpected.
In each case, the enemy withdrew from the field of battle before the cruiser could be fully put to the test.

Nice work man... very unique... stands out nicely in a croud
-
:o That is definitely an interesting design. Nice use of the Oberth-style nacelles, too. She really does look like a wet-navy vessel.
Wasn't the 2003 Inaieu a Defender-class battleship from Diane Duane's 'Rihannsu' book series?

Nope mine is based on the Excelsior Class U.S.S. Inaieu NCC-2003 ;), I don't see novels as a canon source.

I LIKE this idea. Quite a departure from the usual... catchy. Ever thought about doing a take on the Photon chucker, Andor?

I could ;). I'll think on what I can do with it.

but the number 2003 should be in the excelsior class, this one use the hull of and excelsior but not the class, also the lack of phaser will make it vulnerable to attack when the run out of drone.

Looks like an Excelsior varient to me, as for lack of phasers........ exactly shoot smart, fly smart or die ;D

SFC has the 2003 listed as the USS Al-Batani. The ship Janeway first served on.

Excelsior-class.
Type of Federation starship classified as an explorer. Called "The Great Experiment," the Excelsior-class was developed in the 2280s as a testbed for transwarp drive and other revolutionary enhancements to Starfleet vessels. After the failure of transwarp physics, the class was retrofit with standard warp drive and quickly proved itself as one of the most durable and powerful designs, replacing the Constitution-class as the backbone of the Starfleet.
