Title: DF Detail Question
Post by: KBF MalaK on February 13, 2007, 07:33:58 am
Dumb question but I was wondering:

Do Romulan ships have have hull designation numbers ?? And if so whats the format ??

i.e. U.S.S. Enterprise is N.C.C. 1701

Can't recall ever seeing that. Hull numbers appear to be a uniquely Federation practice. Kilingons just use IKV [shipname] and the Romulans RIS or RIV [shipname] I think it is.

In Diane Duane's 'Rihannsu' books, the Romulan homeworld is ch'Rihan. Ships registered there have hull numbers ChR-1354 and such.

A friend's ship is the RIS Kestrel ChR-3080, the first K-D6 -> R-KR conversion.

Her previous ship is the sublight Warbird RIS Aehallh ChR-319
