The great harbor ship Bentus.

Converted from Homeworld2 to LWO by Fabio, converted from LWO to MOD by me. It lacks Hardpoints, too. I also think it could stand to be scaled up a load.[

The Bentus is the mothership belonging to a race of intragalactic traders from Homeworld 2. (though, they appeared in homeworld 1, but not in this ship).

I have all of the HW2 ships converted to Milkshape and all of the Hiigaran ships in mod format. Is anyone willing to do the work to make them playable?

I would love to get my hands on the Progenitor fleet - I have the LWO files, but the way they are optimized made for some ugly mesh errors.
How do you convert homeworld 2 to whatever format? reason being, I am digging through the Relic forums to find a Kadesh mod for Homeworld2, with some pretty wicked models id like to convert.

Yeah, the LWO set has some bad errors. I have the stock Progenetor fleet also. I did not convert them. I found a website that had them all in vrl (?) format and I was able to convert them from there. It will be a large file, but I would be happy to send you every thing I have. Maybe we can it through the yousendit site. I will get the stuff together and you can pm me with any transfer suggestions.

How will you handle turrets?

If you can port over the original Bentusi Tradeship, I'm sure she'll find a home as a generic freighter.

And if you Can get the Progenitor Keeper up, it'll probably make a wicked Small Invader for monster scenarios :)

uh, did you see the Needlefleet - that was inspired by a race from Homeworld.
I also have been sketching up a few Horseshoe ships based off of the Bentusi.

Furthermore, I found a few mods that add ships to the progenitors and the Bentusi, not quite as good as the professional models, but still good.

heheh this thing was fun as hell to fight in Sci Fi wars (SFC3 dyna :P ) this model looks a LOT nicer though :D

The flying starbase (the one that looks like a toilet seat) was so stupid though :( none of its weapons worked so it was a cakewalk...
