Just a note for those with functioning memories- Anything anyone liked or that one should avoid for the civ war servers?
Looking through some old posts, but man I used to make a large number of posts...
So if you remeber anything you liked or hated from the servers- please feel free to post.

I'd prefer to avoid civil wars. Not my favorite.

Civil Wars are fun. You get to sit on the sidelines and see which side comes out on top, then come in and devastate them in their weakened conditions.
But when it comes to civil war mods, I want another Fed one, but not so much a Mirror Mirror camp, just a plain old Fed Civil War.

Loved Civil wars.
Just dont make it a 3 or 4 week server. Too long for single races. Say a 7 to 14 day total for server, maybe like 10 days, to include 2 weekends?

I liked the origional idea of a draft, but that got toally perverted.

The civil wars server had some of the most overly complicated set of rules this game had ever seen. The lack of tech advancement and "cheese" made the battles routine and boring.
If you want to do another server, please throw all those rules out and start fresh.
PS: I will admit it was fun racking up a lot of kills in dead-even ships, but the contrast of traditional enemies is better than flying the same ships.

I have this dystopian vision of suggesting a Fed civil war and having all the regular Fed pilots jumping up and down crying that the Federation would never have such a thing.
Then trekkies from other boards start posting here about how the Federation wouldn't ever have that happen.
Then i start to cry.

I think the Federation is one of the most likely to have a Civil War.
What I think would be interesting, would be a server dealing with a "warring states period" before the actual federation came into being. You could have perhaps Earth/Vulcan on one side and Andorians/Orions on another, etc.
