I'm new to the forum, but not so new to the game(s), but hitting the same problem again and again - I keep crashing in multiplayer, getting the "other player has left" msg. This happens in EAW, and OP, at different times, sometime right off the bat, sometimes 5 minutes in. I play the same opponent every time (as part of a fiction project); we bypass our routers; sometimes we hook up thru gamespy, sometimes direct IP. We're both at same version level (2.0.3.6 for EAW, 2.5.5.2 for OP, thanks to the hard work of y'all out there...). I can play for hours in Single player, campaigns, even multiplayer with just the AI, but when we go PvP, at some point, boom. >:( getting very frustrated...

No, we bypass the router - I mean, physically, I disconnect from it & go straight into my Motorola Surfboard cable modem...
