Title: Will X-fire work with SFC??

My son plugged in his X-Box 360 controller into the laptop, a few days ago and at my suggestion, and discovered that he could use it to play Halo, Mechwarrior and a load of other PC games.

Then he discovered that if he installed X-fire he could talk to other players in online games as on the X-Box 360!!

Now, would X-fire work with any SFC server games so as to allow talking between players or teams in game and outside the game??

Trying to type something and run a starship (or more) single handed is not exactly easy.

It just that the ability to goad an opponent and quip a witty repost just as one blow the crap out of some sucker would appeal to a lot of the Dynaverse community.

So, would X-fire or something similar allow talking in game??

Teamspeak and Ventrilo obviously would, as for X-fire... well I think so, you just gotta be careful not to program the speak key to a key used in SFC combat.. I know it did in Bridge Commander and Neverwinter Nights for me, and there really isnt any reason it wouldnt. I never fully tested it in SFC OP though so I cant guarentee it.

they work very well with  sfc3
