 I just realised that my cd key is still probably in my registry (OP). I have absolutley no clue how to get to my registry for one and once i do that what do i need to read my key so i can use it again.
XP home sp2.

p.s. when i say i have no clue how to find my registry i mean absolutly no idea.

Start -> Run then type in "regedit" minus the quotes.
Your OP CD key though is encrypted in there, not in plain text

 ok well i got the info am i supposed to convert it to text? some of the things i have gotten out when trying to do that are obviously wrong. Like when i try to convert bd to text it comes out 1/2 and i know that is wrong. any ideas?
