I started the directory services up as soon as the power came back up.

Are we still seeing the Directory services down? Monitor shows them up and responding.

I just tried myself - need a nitecap in my B11kX on the Boneyard.... Raztax has done some nice modding. Anyhow - got firewall message as well..

I don't think the directory servers are responsible here.. I think it is GSA Network messing up, and that is what is kicking the Directory server..

Then I got some message about my nickname not being unique, and a list of (stupid) suggested nicknames, when I tried to exit that screen, it closed GSA telling me I had to have a unique nickname... :huh:

Stupid GaySpy...yeah, we need a workaround GSA and I'd bet we would avoid a lot of headaches...

GSA killed my inner child as well!...

I agree on the whole 'a GSA workaround would kick ass' idea. I think it's only going to be a matter of time before GSA ends up nerfing the dyna for good.

I am going to try SFC II EAW next and see if the directory server is up for that game... BRB

went into GSA and opened a ticket reporting the issue...talked to the help in the help room...checking the server was not something they could do..........

Post by: Pestalence_XC on May 05, 2008, 11:19:00 pm: I have submitted a ticked on behalf of D.net explaining to them that our clients and server kits can not connect to their Auth servers.. One of their Helper Admins told me that they are doing heavy back end server side stuff and that it may be a couple of days until we can get the situation resolved.. I will be working directly with them for the next day or 2 to get the Dynaverse going again..

I am in constant contact with Frey and SFHQ with this issue as well. The Dynaverse.net team is working on the situation and hopefully it will be resolved soon..

Please stay tuned for further updates.
