Is it possible to change the weapon names that are shown on screen while playing. (aka the mfd or better known as the sidebar to the right). I know I can't change the icon, but can the name and possibly the button names be changed?

Is there a way to get rid of the Plasma X and Snare's trails. All the plasma's have trails, I'm just not too sure how I get rid of a specific ones.
Yes. black out the last 4 images on the plasma bitmap. The 4 in the lower right corner that look like sparklers.

I'm assuming this is in the SFC sound effects zip file, but can the Plasma X and snare sounds be changed? I'm hoping they're not shared with the other plasmas, if so uhhh mind telling me which one it is if you've got some time?

This is from the sounds.txt file. Looks like it's the 3 file names that I've hilighted. When you edit the SFCSounds.zip file you have to zip it up with zero compression.
FINALLY,
I'm trying to make a "better" cloak for the game so to speak, and am trying to do it in shipedit. I was curious, in shipedit, under the power/systems tab and in the box that says Stealth (+ECM), does it actually increase a ship's ECM and how so. (I've made a ship using this feature and seen no difference in game) I'd love to be able to really get a ships ECM up in order to make their cloak that much better in effect.
No. The stealth bonus in the shiplist doesn't work.
