This interview is long, but they show the tape a couple of times. One version they show I believe was made by someone trying to disprove this (the one where its in the house). Personally, this looks doctored to me. The eyes and mouth move, but could have been added in a computer. The thing that looks unnatural to me is the body movement.

The only pic

All of the moving footage is fake, it has "Reenactment" in the upper right corner. The only piece of the real footage is the still image.

Oh good then its not just me. I saw that, but for some reason I was thinking they were trying to pass that off as the real deal. Just too early in the morning I guess!

No I got that same impression, that it was being repeated to imply the actual video was equally poor. Notice how it was repeated in text that a "Skeptic: Re-created 'alien' on film for under $100" as a subtle way of claiming the re-creation matched the original.

uuuhh, guys? ALL of that was fake. SOMEONE was claiming it was real, and by way of proof, they claimed that their footage (which they would only release a still from) couldn't be faked without thousands of $$. So some skeptics made a fake for under $100 that was more convincing.

Link please? I'd prefer seeing the original video and making my own judgement as to which is "more convincing".

Well, you can't see the video that Jeff Peckman claims is real because he won't release it; he showed it to an audience once and only released one still. You can read about it here:
http://www.rockymountainnews.com/news/2008/may/30/alien-commission-causes-commotion/
The video that was put together by a skeptics group (Rocky Mountain Paranormal) can be seen on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QG0q0EpRpA
And at their website
http://www.rockymountainparanormal.com/ufo/
I read about it first at:
http://www.badastronomy.com/bablog/2008/05/30/shocker-alien-video-is-useless/
which rips into it prettty well.
You can decide (based on what's available) which is "more convincing" but... someone is trying to pass it off as "real." And I've got some prime real estate in Florida and a bridge in New York to sell ya...

Everyone wants a legacy nowadays, including me, I know of only ten people who want little or no contact with the outside world outside of the web. Beshides, don't belive half of what you see on the internet because it won't be true. I've learned from years of excperiance of beliveing lies of the web. I trust few and belive only the few I trust.
