Atolm, you seem to be the cure for flat ship syndrom and you have helped me in the past. I have this ship that looks (in my opinion) pretty good from the top, but from the side it looks like a flat bar. Any suggestions?

I dont think it looks to flat very nice work, for starwars?

Hey mate...that's easy to do on this design...the easiest way would be to just create a spine connecting the centre saucers on the dorsal perspective, and you can add a "belly" the same way, but that's it(you can do both spines, or one on top or bottom)
hope that helps

It is just a good ol' generic ship.
Thanks Atolm, I will give that a try!

Very nice!! I agree, it looks like something from SW. As the flatness, maybe add some sensor towers to the top, maybe a few pods here and there, just to breakup the outline some, give it some greebles and she'll be ready to rock!! ;D

I like the superstructure and spine idea myself.. maybe something like this kind of idea..

Some ships look fine flat. What you have looks awsome and tacking on more attachments just because may not nessicarily make it look better.

That's very good, what kind of weapons does it have?

Yea, I just noticed that. It's ironic because I'm watching Galaxy Quest right now.

I'd do something like this:

maybe make a ventral spine too, but not as long. Or maybe the ventral one is longer and the dorsal is about half the length of whats I've got here. Up to you. Also notice the sphere on the aft.

Pretty good, looks ok to me.
