Title: Star Trek the Experience is closing

I saw the article in the local paper here in Honolulu that Star Trek the Experience is closing on 1 September 2008.  This was being hosted by Hilton Las Vegas and has been around for a while - we had fun when we saw it in 2002.  There is suppossedly a Trek Convention the second weekend of August and shortly after that the show goes away.

just got back from the star trek experience today..... they will be closing on september 1...  they will be having  a decommissioning party on that date.....
the whole staff is really ticked about the whole thing...  but, cant do much about it....
its the hiltons fault, as they wont renew the 10 year lease they had.... guess they need more room for *(^^%* slot machines...
so, if ya wanna see it, get there before sept. 1st, or go for the party
