I'd llike to, but the registration process is giving me a hard time... :banghead:
-
Works fine for me. Just set up another account. I didn't even need to do account verification via email.
-
:( Only 10 votes for OP and 9 for SFC4. We need to get more folks to vote. To get SFC going, we need to promote the daylights out of it.
-
Anybody bothered to vote for Legacy yet??

Legacy didn't even get nominated. I thought about buying it, for about thirty seconds.

I've played it recently on the X-BOX 360.... and was bored within an hour by its lack of tactical options, all the missing weapons.... especially on the Klingon ships, etc.

Can't vote for SFC4 as most anticipated. I could have six months ago, but with not a word from the development group to even say progress is being made anticipation has lapsed. Slipped to vapor ware category for the time being.

My son plays a lot of BC online, and managed to collide with with another team member's ship whilst in warp between star systems.... made for the best spin out and explode crash ever....
He also managed to come out of warp, in another online BC game, and crash his Excelsior Class heavy cruiser into another team mate's Excelsior, who had just come out of warp a few seconds earlier.
My son does complain that BC used to lack a lot of the weapons and tactical options that SFC has, but these things have been added by fan support, such as shttles, boarding parties, fighters. The main thing is that BC allows new weapons and their associated graphics to be added into the game.
I've watched a UES Armarillo firing Pulse Cannons at a Romulan War period warship. The Pulse Cannons were an added in extra to the game. Try adding in a new weapon, such as this, into SFC and you'll run up into a brock wall.
BC has the same amount of fan patches and model support as SFC does, so I'm not surprised that it has so many votes.
Over here, in the UK and Europe, all versions of SFC were very hard to find in the game shops, especially SFC 2 OP and EW.
SFC 3 didn't even appear in the shops over here.

I put my vote in for SFC 4. Right now ST online is winning...but bleh...don't like MMO's myself, seem like throwing money into the fire when one can buy other games and play online without paying a monthly fee that ends up costing over 100 a year.

I don't get the appeal of MMO's myself.
