Title: SFC II: EAW with Windows XP SP3

I loved playing this game years ago.  I still have the disks and the CD-Key.  Decided to play it again.

I installed it and patched it with SFC2Patch2002-2036

I have tried multiple things and I get the same thing every time.

The intro movies play and the game crashes to desktop.

I'll switch .exe and get the one that skips the movies and the game crashes to desktop.

I have tried multiple compatibility settings.  Still the same thing.

I have a Athlon 64 3200
I gig DDR SDRAM
Updated video and audio drivers.

Have there been any fixes?

EAW runs fine from 2002-2036, other than the i-torp buG.

Thanks for trying.

I figured out the issue.

It was a display setting.

In the configure program I was offered three selections for display drivers. 1. Primary 2. Radeon HD2400 Pro AGP (My video card) 3. Software

I originally selected 2. Radeon HD2400...

I changed it to 1. Primary and now it SFCII: EAW works just fine.
