At least the one out here in Guymon is. I tried them one time last year when I first got out here, wasnt all that great back then either, but man what I had for lunch this time around was crappy. The tacobell is better. Heck even the sandwiches at the loves are better.
So if your driving on 54 412 64 3 thru the oklahoma pandhandle and come thru guymon don't eat at the KFC.
But if you don't want that, then from the loves go north about 2 1/2 miles and youll hit food lane where the rest of the fast food places are at.

I gave up on them years ago. Green slime replaced the coleslaw. The chicken pieces got smaller and became more and more gristle less actual meat and the French fries never were any good.
-
And the service has never been too good, either. Burger King is probably the best fast food around.

Twenty years ago it took 68 d for a broiler chicken to reach a slaughter weight of 2 kg whereas in 1985 it takes approximately 45 d

It is 2009 now. I think it is about 28 days from egg to "chicken" these days but I have no source on that.
KFC was good when chicken was good. KFC sucks now.

KFC should change its name to Kentucky Greased Pigeon.
-
All of the good chicken ran away. Haven't you seen Braxton's icon?
-
All the good chicken has gone to Popeys ;D
-
KFC was bought out by YUM years ago, and just like Taco Hell and Pizza Hut(two others bought out by these corporate geniuses) , the quality has gone way down. The food sucks, but the bottom line is looking good. :P

The summer of 1978. Then all chicken places went bad.

Well i could have told you KFC sucked... I worked there one summer (and was a cook, ack)... I swear i will never touch kfc chicken again...

Does this mean you *know* what the 7 herbs and spices are and that one of them is still illegal in 49 states?

A little Maui Wowie in your chicken? ;)
Seriously, YUM is anything but yummie. The quality of all the fast food chains they now own went down the drain after they were bought out.

KFC is ghetto!

The 7 herbs and spices are made up from the dirt from the floor and the snot off the cooks nose . :crazy2:

Father Ted don't know where ya get the idea that the food from companies owned by Yum Brand is bad now. I work for Taco Bell and we are listed as number 1 in the fast food area for my area for the past 6 years in a row. Also most people don't know this but Yum Brands is a sub-company for Pepsi Co. They own: Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, Long John Silvers, and A&W Rootbeer. A lot of the KFC and Taco Bells are not company owned but franchise owned. I have eaten at those and they don't taste as good as the company owned restraunts. Sorry if I am ranting but I hate how people lump one company into a group and not seeing the whole picture with all this. Our policy is to serve the best quilty food we can for the lowest price we can. Franchise does not follow that policy.

If that's the case, then franchisees must own all the Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC places around here, because they all suck. There's no Long John Silver, because they wouldn't last 10 minutes down here in the heart of Cajun country. Red Lobster managed to survive for about a year before they cleared out of town. We're already overloaded on real seafood restaurants.

Wow, there is a name I haven't seen in forever. This is Krolling right? Kim? If so, how have you been? sill got that rolling pin?

Taco Bell? Where's Dizzy? ;)
Seriously though, I went to Taco Bell once. Only once. When they first started appearing here, co-located with KFC, I thought I'd give it a try. The beef taco filling was grey. GREY! It was a very runny and very old bean mixture with perhaps a few traces of beef. Pretty much inedible. (And I love bean burritos and stuff.)
Maybe your outlet could make some training videos or something Storvick, and help these other Taco Bell joints out, they sure need it. I'd love to be able to get a good fast food taco, I was so excited when they came, and so let down when I saw the product.

I do have to say, I used to work at Pizza Hut. I worked when the transition was made to Yum! brands. Initially there was no difference (there never is). After a while though, we were forced to stop making all of our dough fresh that day, and we had to start using frozen dough for our pizzas. I haven't eaten at Pizza Hut since. Obviously, when you switch from fresh dough to frozen dough, the quality goes down hill significantly.

Don't wanna hijack... Taco Bell sucks donkeys! Meat flavored salt.

Still doing good Kim, still in Oklahoma, and still cursing my sat con, and lack of being able to play SFC. Man IT's good to hear from you.

Hey, Soreyes. Good to see ya!

I don't normally like fast food chicken. Too much skin and breading and not enough meat. I do, or at least did, like KFC's mashed potatoes though.
-
The KFC's in Florham Park, NJ and Carlisle, PA are both pretty good (the one is Carlisle is spectacular actually... (yes I know it's a stereotype but the cook at that KFC is an older black guy... don't think that is coincidence...)) the Pizza Hut in Carlisle is also very good...
Funny how the KFC and Pizza Hut's nearer to Harrisburg are mostly absolute garbage... the cole slaw in the Carlisle restaurant is actual slaw vs cabbage puree at most of the others I've ever been to...
-
KFC's mashed potatoes still rock... actually... the potatoes really don't so much, the gravy does though.
Now let me tell you of a story, a KFC in north Houston was the local distribution point for Cocaine. Almost everyone that worked there was in on the distribution, or the usage of said drugs. The code word for the regulars who were there for their stuff, was "Extra Biscuits". Now the person working the counter one day must have come into work under the influence, because a Harris County Deputy comes into the store, in full uniform, and makes an order, and innocently asks for extra biscuits. The counter worker obligingly puts the coke in the bag. The officer stopped at the condiments counter before leaving, and spotted the package. He promptly arrested the entire staff. :crazy2:
-
Those must've been the flaky kind of buscuit.

LOL, I don't know if I should Groan or do a rift on the drum set ToastyO.
