Title: Help, can't login to my own account.

help i cannot login to my own account. comes up with msg saying it doesn't exist but it clearly does... friend of mine made it for me and tested it but as soon as i try server tells me it doesn't exist.

what am i doing or is going  wrong ?

Gamespy account? it is flaky sometimes. Are you using the exact same case (capitals) that your friend used when they made the account?

no it is all lowercase so thats not the problem also he can logon to the dynaverse access server with the account (he also created it on that)

but i couldn't do that and i can't logon with it either. i've applied the dynaverse patch but i have a feeling it isn't using it somehow maybe. i'll post the screen i made.

Have you installed the (free) gamespy arcade client and logged in on gamespy with that account?

Server has refused connection.... sounds like firewall, Norton or McAfee... Do you have Norton or McAfee installed?

no i don't like mcafee or norton at all.

using nod32 client 4 which doesn't have any firewall in it (unlike other releases before)

i didn't login to the gamespy account because my friend didn't need to do so either

i also get an error with logging in (ingame) which says there isn't any account known like that :/

found the problem, the guide i used said i only needed to open 2302-2400 on UDP only but it needs the TCP too
